Adventure Trip to Andaman

On your arrival at Veer Savarkar International airport our representative will receive you and then transfer you to your respective hotel in Port Blair.

Later after freshen up, you will be taken to explore some famous spots in Port Blair which includes:

⦁ Corbyn’s Cove Beach: One of the ideal locations in Port Blair to enjoy various water sports activities like parasailing, Jet Ski, boat ride, and sea kart. This beautiful beach is located at a distance of nearly 4.5 km away from Port Blair and can be easily reached within 20-30 minutes.
⦁ Cellular Jail: Popularly known as Kala Paani. It is a colonial jail which was built in the year 1906 by the Britishers to keep the exiling prisoners as well as the freedom fighters of India. 

⦁ Light and Sound show in Cellular jail: This show represents how the freedom fighters of our nation struggled for independence. The 1st show starts at 5.50 pm and the 2nd show starts at 6.55 pm.

Early morning around 3.30 – 4.00 am, we will start our journey towards Baratang Island. It is quite a hectic tour where we might face issues for one full day of sightseeing starting very early in the morning. It’s approx. a  60-70 minutes drive till Jirkatang check post where we have to do all the permitting things to enter further. After getting the permit, we will drive forward to Middle Strait Jetty from there we will board a ferry vehicle to Baratang Jetty, which takes almost 20 minutes.

From Baratang Jetty we can visit two main sightseeing places, which includes:

⦁ Limestone Caves (By boat): From Baratang Island we  have to book a ticket and board a fiber motorboat. After a 12 km boat ride and 2 km trek through a dense forest which is made up of the mineral calcite (calcium carbonate) we will reach Limestone cave. The fiber boat usually accommodates 6-8 people at a time subject to its size.

⦁ Mud volcano (Optional): It is the only known example of mud volcanoes in India. This place is located at a distance of nearly 7 km away from Baratang Jetty and it can be reached by road.

Transfer to Havelock Island by ferry. One needs to board a ferry from Phoenix Bay Jetty to Havelock Jetty which nearly takes 90 minutes to reach.

Later, we will visit main location in Havelock which includes:

⦁ Radhanagar Beach: This beach is titled as the 7th most beautiful beach in Asia. It is well known for its mesmerizing sunset view. One can also enjoy the serene beauty of nature from here.

Today, we will be exploring two main beaches in Havelock that are:

⦁ Elephant Beach: Located at a distance of nearly 8.6 km away from Havelock ferry ghat. To get here one needs to board a boat from Havelock ferry ghat which nearly takes 15 minutes. One can also hike through a dense forest to reach this spot. Elephant beach is mainly known for different types of water sports activities like banana boat ride, jet skiing, & snorkeling etc.

⦁ Kala Pathar Beach: Located at a distance of nearly 10.4 Km from Elephant beach. The beach is covered with black rocks and that is how this beach got its name Kala Pathar as in Hindi Kala means “Black” and Pathar means “Rock”. The ideal time to explore this beach is especially during evening time as we will be able to witness the gorgeous sunset view from here. It is a one of hidden jewels for nature and peace lovers.

Today, we will be leaving for Neil Island. It’s an approx. 50 minute ferry ride from Havelock.

Later, we will be visiting some main attractions in Neil which includes:

⦁ Laxmanpur Beach (Beach No. 1): This beautiful beach is located in Laxmanpur village and is popularly known for its spectacular sunset views. It’s a wonderful beach to explore, especially for nature lovers. The beach is located nearly 2.6 km from the Neil jetty and can be reached in less than 15 minutes.

⦁ Natural Bridge: It is also well known as Howrah Bridge. It is an ideal spot for adventure lovers as one needs to walk along the seashores to get here.

Note: We do not suggest visiting this bridge for senior citizens and children below 5 years.

⦁ Bharatpur Beach: Bharatpur beach, well known for various types of water sports activities like glass boat, snorkeling, scuba diving, Jet Ski, & boat riding. It is located very close to Neil Island jetty. This beach is best for water sports.

Today, we will be heading back to Port Blair which is a nearly 75 minute ferry ride.

Later, we will visit one of the prime locations in Port Blair, Chidiya Tapu.

⦁ Chidiya Tapu: One of the prime spots to  enjoy the stunning sunset view and also to witness different types of birds. One can also hike through a wonderful forest area from Chidiya Tapu to reach Munda Pahad from where the serene beauty of Andaman can be clearly seen. 

Today, we’ll be visiting the main local sightseeing places of Port Blair which includes: 

⦁ Chatham Saw Mill: One of the oldest and the largest mill, which is usually run by the state government. This mill also has a museum where you will see wooden craft works done by the skillful artisans, made out of large wooden logs which are kept near the mill. 

⦁ Samudrika Naval Marine Museum: This museum shows the history of Andaman Islands, where you will see the history of Andaman people, geographical information, marine life and archaeology.

⦁ Anthropological Museum: It is the most-visited place in Andaman Island. Information about the local community tribes is the highlight of this museum.

⦁ Science center: Here one will see the interesting scientific facts such as liquid painting; Jurassic themed light and sound show etc. 

⦁ Sagarika Emporium: One of the best locations for those who are fond of shopping. It is the only place in Port Blair where you will see the best creations of local’s such as things made out of wood, seashells and jutes.
