Day 1

New Jalpaiguri Station/Bagdogra Airport/Pakyong Airport, is the nearest Airport or Railway station where the guests will arrive. From there, our representative will greet them and help them to get towards Gangtok Sikkim. On the way, you will get to see the beautiful rivers like Teesta river, and mesmerizing mountain views. 

Teesta River– Teesta river rises in Sikkim from the Himalayas, it is an important river that also provides optional river rafting experiences that guests can participate at their own cost on early arrival.

On day two the visitors will have an exciting day trip to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir. The journey takes about 40 to 50 minutes from Gangtok city which is about 41 Kilometers. It is a must visit place after reaching Gangtok which is one of the main attractions for which people visit this place. Baba Mandir which is also nearby is another often visited place in Gangtok. 

Tsomgo Lake – Tsongmo Lake is one of the main tourist attractions in Gangtok Sikkim. It is a high altitude glacial lake which provides its visitors with scenic beauty and a serene environment. 

Baba Mandir: is dedicated to the remembrance of Baba Harbajan Singh, an Indian army man who died while on duty. Believe that his soul is still performing duties .

Nathula pass– Nathula pass is an optional point for the visitors. It is an Indo-China Border located at an altitude of 4310 meters from the mean sea level. Nathula will be closed on monday.

Today we will start the journey from Gangtok to Lachen, North Sikkim 115km (6 hours). On the way visit famous waterfalls like;

Seven sister waterfalls – it is a famous  waterfall on the way to Lachen surrounded by lush forests that look fascinating during monsoon season. 

Naga Waterfalls – A beautiful waterfall famous for its height and pouring beauty, popular for photography and peaceful environment. 

Singhik view point – A viewpoint of North Sikkim famous for its breathtaking scenic views of Mount Kanchenjunga and surrounding views.

Today, we will be visiting the main attraction in Lachen.

Gurudongmar Lake: Early morning around 6 am we will start our journey towards Gurudongmar Lake. It is located at a distance of nearly 64 km away from Lachen and takes almost 2.5 hours to reach. Located at an altitude of 17,800 ft that is why it is not convenient to visit this Lake in the afternoon as the place might experience heavy wind flow.

Kala Patthar: Kala Patthar is mainly known as a snowy location in Lachen. This is the only location where we might see snow almost throughout the year. It’s an optional point so one needs to pay the extra amount to visit this location.

Post visit, we will head towards Lachung on the very same day.

Today, we will explore the main attraction of Lachung which includes:

Yumthang Valley: Located nearly 25 km away from Lachung village and roughly takes 1.5 hours to reach. It is also commonly known as the *Valley of flowers*.

Zero Point (optional): Another main attraction in Lachung is Zero point which is usually the end of the road. One needs to make an extra payment to visit this spot.

Post visit, we will move towards Gangtok.

Today, we will be heading towards Pelling, West Sikkim which is located at a distance of nearly 108 km away from Gangtok and takes almost 5 hours to reach normally.on the way we will visit some points like 

Chardham Namchi: Chardham is one of the most famous religious sites in Sikkim. It is also popularly known as Siddheshwar Dham. Chardham means *Four Dham* in Hindi and it is also constructed in such a way that all Dhams namely Badrinath, Jagannath, Dwarka, and Rameshwaram are built in the same place.

Buddha Park: Buddha park is well known for its 130 ft statue of Lord Buddha and is also considered as one of the tallest statues of Buddha in india. It is an ideal spot for those who are seeking a peaceful environment to relax their mind and soul.

Today we will be exploring some of the best places of Pelling which includes:

Pemayangtse Monastery: This monastery is a Buddhist monastery and it is one of the oldest monasteries situated near Pelling.

Rabdentse Ruins: It is very close to Pemayangtse monastery and from here one can enjoy an amazing view of Mt. Kanchenjunga.

Khecheopalri Lake: Khecheopalri lake is a holy lake and people used to believe it is a wish fulfilling lake. 

Kanchenjunga Waterfalls: Kanchenjunga waterfalls are very stunning and beautiful hidden waterfalls at Pelling and one of the most famous tourist spots in Pelling.

Sky Walk: It’s a glass bottomed bridge located at Pelling and it’s the first skywalk in India.

Rimbi waterfalls: It is a very beautiful waterfall beside the road side. One can basically visit these waterfalls during summer and winter season.  

Darap village: Darab village is a small village which is very famous for Limboo communities, Sikkimese culture and cuisines.

Let’s head towards Darjeeling, West Bengal which is located at a distance of nearly 69 km away from Pelling and almost takes 3 hours to reach by road.

⦁ Toy Train: One can experience a 2 hours joy ride at their own expense.

⦁ Mall Road: Spend your evening hours strolling around the main visiting hub in Darjeeling, Mall Road.

Today, we will explore all the major local sightseeing of Darjeeling which includes. 

Tiger hill  Early morning at 4am to witness the view of sunrise.From tiger hill will get the panoramic views of mount kanchenjunga and mount everest. It is approx 13 km away from the main city Darjeeling.

While returning from Tiger hill, you will be exploring Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery.

Batasia Loop- Batasia loop attracts the people for the spectacular views of mount kanchenjunga and other snow capped mountains.

Ghoom Monastery  Ghoom monastery is another sightseeing point which is near to Bstasia loop .It is approx 6 kms away from the main market of Darjeeling.

Japanese temples-  Japanese temple is a buddhist temple that offers you scenic beauty, or you can meditate and seek inner peace. 

Peace Pagoda- established to give a focal point for people of all races and creeds to assist them unite to achieve global peace. 

Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park (will be closed on Thursday)- Zoological park is famous for the conservation of endangered species such as leo part, tiger, himalayan black bear,barking deer, many species of bird and Tibetan wolf.

Ropeway- Experience the beauty of the tea garden and the Himalayas surrounding Darjeeling. 

Tea Garden- Experience the smell of the Tea garden and have a chance to learn the making tea leaves of Darjeeling. 

Tenzing Gumpo Rock-Tensing Gumpo Rock – It is built in honor of the famous Tenzing sherpa for rock climbing and mountaineering lovers. 

Tibetan Refugee Center- Tibetan Refugee is a Self-help Center to learn Tibetan culture and history.

    I m little late but whenever I checkout the pictures of our Sikkim trip I always remember the beautiful hospitality of we care holidays even in our schedule there was a landslide happened in North Sikkim but still they managed everything so well....Hotels and everything was perfect

    Had a great trip to Nepal with We care. Through the entire trip starting from pick up from airport till drop, they ensured all the necessities. Hotel Aryatara was too good the food, the staff at hotel were so welcoming. I plan to do more trips with the agency.     They are helpful, well planned, good drivers, are available to talk to during the trip. The only drawback, they try to talk to you and ask if you can manage the last cab to airport yourselves. Even though they say its 500 or cheap. Its not true, it costs about 1000 to 2000 to get a ride to Bagdogra airport from a hotel. Also it difficult as they cancel the ride last minute. So I would suggest if you go we care holidays ensure they drop you back to airport

    Me and my Family Members Had book tour of Gangtok, Lachung, Pelling & Darjeeling for 10 Days through We Care Holiday.Found a very Good Experience, Specially Ms. Shuku Rai from Wecare was super helpful.
