Day 1

Upon arrival, move towards Gangtok through the Teesta River. 

⦁ The River Teesta connecting with many other small rivers flows to the Bay of Bengal connecting again with Brahmaputra providing rafting and participating in rafting at their own cost.

⦁ After reaching MG Marg, the heart of Gangtok, roam around for shopping, and enjoy the best cafes in Mg Marg.

Day 2

Today we will visit the places as follows;

Tsongmo Lake: Sacred Lake at an elevation of about 3,753 meters (12,313 feet), which holds religious importance for the people of Sikkim. It remains frozen during the winter season which makes the place more beautiful. 

Baba Mandir: The temple is dedicated to ‘Baba Harbhajan Singh” who is believed to be the “Living God’ by the locals. The shrine is located near Tsomgo Lake. 

Nathula Pass: Nathula is an Indo-China border, it is optional whether you are interested in visiting or not, you need to inform the team one day before so that we can apply for the permit. (Note: Nathula remains closed on Monday).

Lachen 

Today we will start the journey from Gangtok to Lachen, North Sikkim 115km (6 hours). On the way visit famous waterfalls like;

⦁ Seven sister waterfalls – A famous waterfall on the way to Lachen surrounded by lush forests looks fascinating during monsoon season. 

⦁ Naga Waterfalls – A beautiful waterfall famous for its height and pouring beauty, popular for photography and peaceful environment. 

⦁ Singhik view point – A viewpoint of North Sikkim famous for its breathtaking views of Mount Kanchenjunga and surrounding views.

Around 6 am drive towards Gurudongmar from the hotel. 

Gurudongmar Lake (17,800ft), is the sacred lake of Buddhists and Hindus. One of the highest lakes in India. The lake is believed to be blessed by lord Buddha. 

Return to the hotel and drive to Lachung (50km). Overnight stay at Lachung Hotel.

Today we will explore major attraction in Lachung which includes:

The Yumthang Valley is famously known as the “Valley of Flowers” as during the spring season you can see the different types of flowers throughout the valley. It’s a heaven for nature lovers as the colors and smell of flowers with majestic landscapes make unforgettable memories. 

Zero Point: It is the end of the road, almost 35km away from Yumthang Valley. Famous for snow-capped mountains and majestic views. 

Note: You need to pay an extra 4000/- directly to the driver and visit this must-visit place in North Sikkim.

Today we will explore the following gem of the Gangtok a heart of the state;

Flower Exhibition Center – A greenhouse of different varieties of Himalayan flowers of Sikkim.

Ganesh Tok – The temple is built in the name of God Ganesha. You can get the majestic view of Gangtok city.

Hanuman Tok – The temple was built in the name of God Hanuman. It is believed to be a wish-fulfilling temple. 

View Point – Famous for the majestic view of Mt. Kanchenjunga. Try traditional dresses. 

Ropeway – The must-try gem of Gangtok for the aerial view of Gangtok city. 

Chorten stupa – One of the most important Stupa of Gangtok for the locals for the peaceful surroundings and prayers. 

Institute of Tibetology – The Tibetan Institute has detailed books on Tibetan cultures and Buddhism. 

Bakthang Waterfalls – A beautiful waterfall for scenic views and photo opportunities. 

Banjhakri waterfalls – A natural waterfall of Gangtok for scenic views and some interesting activities like lip line and high rope.

Chardham: Chardham is an important pilgrimage site at Namchi with an 87 ft Shiva statue featuring the four Dham namely Badrinath, Jagannath Puri, Rameshwaram, and Dwarka. 

Buddha Park: Buddha Park (Tathagata Tsal) is a famous attraction in Sikkim. The park offers a spectacular view and mountains with a 160 ft Buddha statue.

Today you will explore the hidden gem of Pelling which includes;

Pemayatse Monastery – The oldest monastery of Sikkim, it holds important religious importance for the people of Sikkim. It offers a majestic view of the Himalayas. 

Rabdentse Ruins – The ruins of the first palace of Chogyal of Sikkim. It has beautiful and well-maintained gardens and a beautiful view of the Himalayas. 

Skywalks- The first glass walk of India and has the tallest statue of Chenrezig. 

Kanchenjunga waterfalls- The beautiful waterfall directly originated from Mt. Kanchenjunga. 

Rimbi waterfalls- A beautiful waterfall of Pelling with a scenic view valley of Pelling.

Darap Village – A beautiful village in Pelling surrounded by green mountains. The colorful houses are made in a Sikkimese style.

Khecheopalri Lake- The sacred lake worshipped by Buddhists and Hindus, it is believed to be the wish-fulfilling lake of Sikkim. 

Sanga Choeling Monastery – One of the oldest monasteries of Sikkim has the best view of the green mountains of Pelling.

⦁ Durga Mandir – A temple of Goddess Durga famous for its vibrant festivals.

⦁ Hanuman Temple – A temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, people often visit the temple for blessings of strength, courage, and protection from Lord Hanuman. 

⦁ Deolo Hill – A famous hill of Kalimpong famous for its breathtaking views and a prime spot for picnics and paragliding.

    I m little late but whenever I checkout the pictures of our Sikkim trip I always remember the beautiful hospitality of we care holidays even in our schedule there was a landslide happened in North Sikkim but still they managed everything so well....Hotels and everything was perfect

    Had a great trip to Nepal with We care. Through the entire trip starting from pick up from airport till drop, they ensured all the necessities. Hotel Aryatara was too good the food, the staff at hotel were so welcoming. I plan to do more trips with the agency.     They are helpful, well planned, good drivers, are available to talk to during the trip. The only drawback, they try to talk to you and ask if you can manage the last cab to airport yourselves. Even though they say its 500 or cheap. Its not true, it costs about 1000 to 2000 to get a ride to Bagdogra airport from a hotel. Also it difficult as they cancel the ride last minute. So I would suggest if you go we care holidays ensure they drop you back to airport
