Day 1

Our respective representative will meet you at the Kathmandu airport with your name plate. You will then be transferred to your respected hotel in Kathmandu. It will be an approx. 15 to 20 minutes ride.

Today, we will be covering the Heritage and worth-full Kathmandu sightseeing places like:

⦁ Pashupatinath Temple: Pashupatinath Temple is one of the oldest Hindu temples dedicated to Pashupati, a form of Shiva. Pashupatinath Temple is located in the Kathmandu Valley of the Bagmati River.

⦁ Swayambhunath Stupa: Swayambhunath Stupa is one of the famous stupas in the west part of Kathmandu valley. It is also known as Monkey Temple. It takes approx. 356 steps from the road to reach the main stupa Swayambhunath. From the top of this stupa, you can see the beautiful views of Kathmandu Valley.  

⦁ Garden of Dreams: Garden of Dreams is situated in the middle of Kathmandu valley. Here one can enjoy its beautiful view including fountain, varieties of flowers and many more things to experience. This garden was created by Field Marshal Kaiser in the early 1920s.

⦁ Budhanilkantha Temple: Budhanilkantha temple is a Hindu temple and it’s also known as Jal Narayan or sleeping Vishnu. This temple is one of the famous temples in Kathmandu valley.

⦁ Boudhanath stupa: Boudhanath stupa is one of the main tourist spots in Kathmandu valley. Boudhanath stupa is shaped as a semi-circle, and it is one of the largest spherical stupas in the world.

⦁ Patan Durbar Square: Patan Durbar Square is situated at the center of the city of Lalitpur. The square is full of temples, shrines, and ancient places.

⦁ Kathmandu Durbar Square: Kathmandu Durbar Square is one of the old Durbar Squares in Kathmandu. It is also known as a museum of temples.

Today, we will start our beautiful morning with good vibes as today we will be covering the most famous attractions in Bhaktapur that are:

⦁ Changu Narayan Temple: Changu Narayan Temple is the oldest temple.It’s highly populated during Kartik (October to November) as a large number of Devotees are likely to visit this place every year.

⦁ Mahadev Statue at Sanga: Kailashnath Mahadev Statue is the second tallest statue in the world. It is situated on the border of Bhaktapur district. It is approx. 20 km away from the Kathmandu valley.

⦁ Doleshwor Mahadev Temple: Doleshwar Mahadev Temple is a Hindu temple of Lord Shiva, and it is located in the south-eastern part of Bhaktapur district. It is approx. 20 km away from the Kathmandu valley.

⦁ Bhaktapur Durbar Square: Bhaktapur Durbar Square is one of the most beautiful and important durbar squares as you will come across the Square that embodies the richness of Newari art, architecture, and history which you cannot ignore at all, one can even sit for hours enjoying every peace present in Bhaktapur Durbar.

Janakpur

This morning, we will start our journey towards Janakpur which is located at a distance of nearly 253 km away and roughly takes 7-8 hours to reach. Janakpur is one of the important pilgrimage sites for the Hindus people due to its connection with Hindu ambitions called the Ramayana. It is also the birthplace of goddess Sita. 

Later, in the evening we will visit Ram Janaki temple. 

⦁ Ram Janaki temple: It is also known as Janaki mandir. This temple is dedicated to goddess Sita who was born in Janakpur. Most of the people visits this temple especially during Vivah Panchami.

Chitwan

Today, we will start our journey towards another destination called Chitwan. Chitwan is mainly famous for (Chitwan National park). 

⦁ Janakpur to Chitwan distance by road (232 km approx. 7 hrs journey).

Lumbini

Today at the first hour we will do the half day activity in Chitwan national park which includes:

⦁ Canoeing: If the visitors are coming for a relaxing trip then canoeing is the best option for them. While doing the canoeing ride in Rapti River you can see the amazing views of nature, crocodile, and Bird watching. 

⦁ Elephant Bathing: This activity will give you a chance to take a bath with elephants at Rapti River. The giant Asian trained elephants are friendly to human beings. Everyone can have a one time experience of this activity. 

⦁ Village walk: Chitwan National park in Nepal provides a Village walk like Tharu village walk.

⦁ Tharu village (Badrahani): This village is located near Sauraha, and it’s almost a 40-50 minutes’ walk from the center of Sauraha.

After completing the activity at chitwan we will proceed towards Lumbini (Birthplace of Goutam Buddha).

Pokhara

Today we will visit the Lumbini cultural garden. Inside the lumbini cultural garden there are various monuments of archaeological and spiritual importance such as the Maya Devi Temple, the Ashoka Pillar, the Marker Stone, and the Nativity Sculpture.

Post visit, we will proceed towards Pokhara which is also called the city of lakes. Pokhara is located at a distance of nearly 200 km and roughly takes 7 hrs to reach.

Pokhara

Today, we will be exploring all the major attractions of Pokhara where we will witness stunning sunrise views, oldest temples, beautiful lakes, and waterfalls.

⦁ Sarangkot sunrise: Well known for its panoramic sunrise view. This place also offers a stunning view of the mountain ranges including Dhawalagiri and Annapurna Mountain ranges.

⦁ Tal Barahi Temple (Phewa lake Boating): Tal Barahi Temple is also known as Lake Temple. It is the most important religious temple in Pokhara. This temple is located on a small island in the middle of Phewa Lake so to get here one needs to hire a paddle boat which will take around 20-25 minutes one way. 

⦁ Devi’s fall: It is one of the unique waterfalls one can ever visit as its water disappears inside a deep tunnel. Devi’s fall is also known as Patale Chhango, which means underworld water.

⦁ Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave: This cave holds a great religious importance as it is considered as a sacred site for Hindus. This cave is located below the Devi’s falls where one can observe the water from Devi’s falls disappearing. 

⦁ Bat Cave: This cave is usually formed of limestone and is known for a habitat of horseshoe bats inside the cave.

⦁ Gurkha Museum: The Gurkha Museum is dedicated to all the Gurkhas which basically showcases the history, heritage, and the contributions of all the gurkha heroes.

⦁ International Mountain Museum: The International Mountain Museum was started on 5th Feb 2004. This museum contained the main three exhibition halls that are the Hall of Fame, the World Mountains, and the Great Himalayas.

⦁ Vindhyavasini Temple: Vindhyavasini Temple is one of the oldest temples in the city of Pokhara. This temple is mainly famous for the Shakti peethas of goddess parvati.

⦁ Mahendra cave: Mahendra cave is located in the Kaski district of Pokhara. Inside the Mahendra cave, it has numerous rock formations of stalactites.

⦁ Seti River Gorge: Seti Gandaki River is also known as a white river or milky river. It is located in the Lamachaur western part of Pokhara.

⦁ Suspension Bridge: Suspension Bridge is one of the longest hanging bridges in Kaski district of Pokhara. This bridge is almost 276 meters long and almost 91 meters high.

Today we will be visiting the two main sightseeing points in Pokhara that are:

⦁ Peace Stupa: Peace stupa is a Buddhist temple located in Anadu hill, it is also known as Shanti Temple. From the top of this stupa you can enjoy the mesmerizing view of Phewa lake and stunning mountains.

⦁ Pumdikot Shiva statue: It is located near Kaski district of Gandaki province in Nepal pokhara. From the top of this Statue you can see the mesmerizing views of Pokhara valley and various mountains.

Today, we will be heading towards Pokhara which is located at a distance of nearly 202 km away and roughly takes 7-8 hours to reach by car.

On the way, we will also visit Manakamana devi Temple.

⦁ Manakamana Devi Temple: It is one of the oldest Hindu temples which is located on the top of hills. One needs to get there through a cable car which takes approx. 15 minutes to reach. This temple is dedicated to goddess Bhagawati. There is a belief that one’s wish gets fulfilled by visiting this temple as the name itself suggests the word Mana means mana Heart and Kamana means Wish.

    I m little late but whenever I checkout the pictures of our Sikkim trip I always remember the beautiful hospitality of we care holidays even in our schedule there was a landslide happened in North Sikkim but still they managed everything so well....Hotels and everything was perfect

    Had a great trip to Nepal with We care. Through the entire trip starting from pick up from airport till drop, they ensured all the necessities. Hotel Aryatara was too good the food, the staff at hotel were so welcoming. I plan to do more trips with the agency.     They are helpful, well planned, good drivers, are available to talk to during the trip. The only drawback, they try to talk to you and ask if you can manage the last cab to airport yourselves. Even though they say its 500 or cheap. Its not true, it costs about 1000 to 2000 to get a ride to Bagdogra airport from a hotel. Also it difficult as they cancel the ride last minute. So I would suggest if you go we care holidays ensure they drop you back to airport
