Gangtok

Upon arrival move towards Gangtok through the Teesta River. 

⦁ The River Teesta connecting with many other small rivers flows to the Bay of Bengal connecting again with Brahmaputra providing rafting and participating in rafting at their own cost.

⦁ After reaching MG Marg the heart of Gangtok, roam around for shopping, and enjoy the best cafes in Mg Marg.

Gangtok

Today we will visit the places as follows;

⦁ Tsongmo Lake: Scared Lake at an elevation of about 3,753 meters (12,313 feet), which holds religious importance for the people of Sikkim. It remains frozen during the winter season which makes the place more beautiful. 

⦁ Baba Mandir: The temple is dedicated to ‘Baba Harbhajan Singh” who is believed to be the “Living God’ by the locals. An Indian Army captain is honored in the Baba Mandir shrine. Baba is said to have been guarding the Indo-Chinese border between Tibet and Sikkim.
The shrine is located near Tsongmo Lake. 

⦁ Nathula Pass: Nathula is an Indo-China border. One of Sikkim’s most well-known tourist destinations is Nathula Pass. It is optional whether you are interested in visiting or not, you need to inform the team one day before so that we can apply for the permit. (Note: Nathula remains closed on Monday).

Lachen

Today we will start the journey from Gangtok to Lachen, North Sikkim 115km (6 hours). On the way visit famous waterfalls like;

⦁ Naga Waterfalls: A beautiful waterfall famous for its height and pouring beauty, popular for photography and peaceful environment. This place has incredibly cold, clean water.

⦁ Seven Sisters waterfalls: The Seven Sisters waterfalls are about 32 kilometers from Gangtok. Tourists can appreciate the flawless beauty thanks to the incredibly appealing waterfalls. 

⦁ Singhik Waterfalls: Situated in Mangan, these stunning waterfalls have multiple levels. A beautiful waterfall famous for its height and pouring beauty, popular for photography and peaceful environment. 

Lachung

Prepare yourself for breathtaking views of the Gurudongmar Lake after breakfast.

⦁ Gurudongmar Lake: Perched at a high elevation of 17,800 feet, Gurudongmar Lake is known for its unspoiled beauty and glistening blue holy waters. It also provides a breathtaking view of the stunning lake. It is among the world’s highest lakes.
Low oxygen levels can cause respiratory difficulties in infants under five years children and seniors over 65.

Return to the hotel and drive to Lachung (50km). Overnight stay at Lachung Hotel. 

Gangtok

Today, following a hearty breakfast, we’ll go to

⦁ Yumthang Valley: This valley, also known as the “Valley of Flowers,” is located at an elevation of 12,000 feet (3564 meters) and is blooming with a variety of miniature Himalayan flowers, including primroses, cinquefoils, louseworts, and cobra lilies. 

⦁ Zero Point: It is the end of the road, almost 35km away from Yumthang Valley. Famous for snow-capped mountains and majestic views. 

Note: You need to pay an extra 4000/- directly to the driver and visit this must-visit place in North Sikkim.

Pelling

On the way, visit two famous spots of South Sikkim

⦁ Chardham Namchi: The majestic temple of Chardham Namchi is located atop Solophok Hill. A 108-foot-tall monument of Lord Shiva, which is a reproduction of the four revered Hindu pilgrimage destinations of Badrinath, Jagannath Puri, Rameswaram, and Dwarka. It takes about two to three hours by road from Gangtok.  

⦁ Buddha Park Ravangla: Also called Tathagata Tsal, Buddha Park of Ravangla was built in 2006 to commemorate Lord Gautama Buddha’s 2550th birthday. The 130-foot-tall statue of Lord Buddha, commonly referred to as the Statue of Guru Padmasambhava, is the focal point of the Buddha Park. It is among the highest Buddha statues seen in India.

Pelling
Today you will explore the hidden gem of Pelling which includes;

⦁ Pemayatse Monastery: Among the oldest monasteries in Sikkim is Pemayatse Monastery.  It offers a majestic view of the Himalayas.

⦁ Khecheopalri Lake: The sacred lake worshipped by Buddhists and Hindus, it is believed to be the wish-fulfilling lake of Sikkim. 

⦁ Kanchenjunga Waterfalls: Among Sikkim’s biggest waterfalls is Kanchenjunga. The snowmelt from Mount Kanchenjunga’s glaciers feeds the waterfall.

⦁ Rabdanse Ruins: Sikkim’s second capital. It is renowned for its breathtaking scenery and the ruins of the old palace and other buildings that stood there. 

⦁ Skywalk: The Glass Skywalk is the first skywalk in India. It is constructed at an incredible height of 7,200 feet and has the tallest statue of Chenrezig

⦁ Darap Village: A charming little village with a wealth of Sikkimese culture and breathtaking scenery.

⦁ Rimbi Waterfalls: This well-known waterfall offers breathtaking vistas.

On the last day, our representative will promptly transport you to the appropriate drop-point following a hearty breakfast
