We started We Care Holidays because we were tired of watching travellers arrive in Sikkim with beautiful expectations and leave with disappointment — not because the place had failed them, but because the trip had been designed by someone who had never stood at Gurudongmar at dawn or watched clouds fill the Teesta valley from Ravangla. We are from here. This is our home.
Over the years we have built a team of local guides, permit specialists, drivers and accommodation partners who share our belief: that travel done right is deeply personal. We do not sell you a package. We listen to you — your pace, your family, what excites you — and we build the journey around that conversation.
From the high-altitude monasteries of North Sikkim and the rhododendron forests of Dzongri to the colonial tea estates of Darjeeling and the ancient temples of Kathmandu, every route we plan carries the weight of our own experience. We have walked these roads, navigated these permits, tasted these meals. When we recommend something, it is because we would take you there ourselves.
